Hello from Oklahoma, Lynn & Tim. I follow your writings as you continue to travel. I was in Paris this time last year for my 60th birthday. I never did make it to the Lafayette shopping center. Your picture is marvelous. I did buy myself a Louis Vuitton in Saint Germaine, though! I went to the flea market in very north Paris….off of Clingencourt? That doesn’t look right, but was wondering if it was the same one you referred to (vanves). I came in on the wrong subway stop and somehow missed a lot of booths. So, next time, I’ll know better. One of my favorite areas was the souvenir shopping around Sacre Coure. Loved the grounds around the Cathedral, too. My next adventure is renting an apartment there for about 6 weeks stay. My husband hates to travel, but says if I’m sure I’ll come BACK, he gives me his blessing to go! Don’t know about going it alone for so long, but am sure I’ll have friends from home who will be excited to come, for a week at a time, and share my “apartment”! Happy travels!
